Maindy is quite small and has a family vibe to it. If you head to the gym for an evening sesh you'll probably find you've got the gym pretty much to yourself which can be nice. But because its quite small the facilities aren't amazing and you'll probably have to wait for cardio equipment as there is only 4-5 treadmills and even less for weights. However, If you're a keen swimmer this is one of the best place in Cardiff with a pool. Classes are good, such as aerobics and yoga etc, and they are good with spinning classes and new spinning bikes.
